February 16 to March 30 - Sustainable Prom Workshop
Prom season is here, but traditional prom outfits aren’t always sustainable. Many of us buy outfits we wear once or twice, only to tuck them away in the back of our closets. This workshop series offers a refreshing, sustainable approach to making prom special.
What You’ll Do
Design & Conceptualize: Work alongside Matthew to create a sustainable prom outfit that reflects your style and values.
Guest Speakers: Hear from industry experts on sustainable fashion, fabric sourcing, and ethical design.
Field Trips: Visit fabric stores, vintage shops, and other sustainable resources to gather inspiration and materials.
Personalized Guidance: Space is limited, so you’ll receive one-on-one time with Matthew, tailoring the experience to you and your teen.
This isn’t a construction class—there will be no sewing or garment-making. Instead, you’ll leave with a clear plan and the confidence to create a one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly outfit.
